Indigo Indian Restaurant
Heady aromas and sultry spices are the keynotes in Indian cuisine and Indigo uses the same approach to mixing flavours, infusing colours and harmonising textures in the kitchen and the restaurant.
Our design of Indigo restaurant in Rotana Beach Hotel in Abu Dhabi captures the essence of traditional India. Architectural features include curved archways, elaborately carved timber screens and we introduced a colour palette that subtly evokes the majesty of India’s royal past, with rich red and yellow walls, ornate lights and delicate silk upholstery.
A contemporary twist is achieved through the installation of textured metal surfaces; mesh pendants; coloured glass light features that hang above a central water feature and strategically placed mirrors that bounce the flickering candlelight through the restaurant.
